About Mike Newlin
Mike has been the General Manager with ESOG since 2017 but has been with the team since 2012. He is Certified Six Sigma Black Belt – are an indication of ESOG’s commitment to quality. He sums up the ESOG approach to a job in one word: RESPECT. “ESOG is a company that truly respects our customer’s time and money. ESOG does not sell anyone something they don’t need. If our project coordinators review a home and find that no work is needed, they will explain to the customer what they have found and why no work is needed. When work is required, our Project Coordinators will develop a repair plan for exactly what they need, nothing more or nothing less.”
Mike’s advice to homeowners grappling with a wide range of repair proposals is to hire a structural engineer to get to the bottom of the problem and write up a recommendation for repair. The homeowner can then take that report and ask contractors to bid on it. This takes the guesswork out of determining which method of repair is correct.
Mike spends free time at home with his wife and children, at church, or at the movies. With two children adopted from China, Mike and his family are also active in international adoption events.
“Foundation repair and waterproofing is already a unique business segment, but our approach is what sets us apart. We will create a customized plan that will fully address the issues and ensure that our customers completely understand what we will be doing and how it will be done.”
