How are Piers Installed

The installation slideshow above demonstrates the two most common methods of repair, steel push piers and helical piers.

Both methods use steel piers that are driven deep into the ground into load bearing strata. Both also use brackets which are positioned under the footing. However helical piers has a screw type design that cuts into the ground, while steel piers are driven.
