Site:

An older home in an Atlanta residential neighborhood required an addition.

Problem:

This was a major rehab of an existing residential structure. Soft soil under and adjacent to existing structure was causing foundation problems that needed repair prior to construction of the home addition.

Solution:

New construction piers were installed under the new structure.

Piering:

Helical piers were installed under the existing structure to support its current load as well as the additional load imposed by the home addition.

Conclusion:

Cost and time were saved by the excavation.
