Interior Waterproofing System
Uses
- Used to provide a lifetime solution for below grade basement water leakage through foundation walls
Installation procedure
- A trench in the basement floor is excavated in front of affected wall approximately 5.5 inches from wall to expose the
joint between the wall and the footing - A pvc drain channel is fit against wall in the trench to catch water under the floor and channel it to a gravity discharge line or a sump system
- A vapor barrier is mechanically fastened to the wall and tucked into the floor drain to catch any water seepage above the floor and channel it to the drain system
- The drain is back filled with #57 drain age stone and concrete with a water proof additive is poured over the drain and finished to match existing floor
Advantages
- Provides a life time warranty against any further foundation leakage
- No need to destroy landscaping, sidewalks or driveways as with exterior systems
- Basement can be finished with no worry of foundation leaks in the future
