Uses For Galvanized Helical Piers

  • To provide support for structures built on soil that is not capably of holding the weight of a structure
  • Used to create a base for construction of structures on poor soil

Installation procedure

  • The footing is exposed in areas that piers are going to be installed typically a 4’x4’ excavation is required
  • The footing is preped to proved a good seat for the foundation bracket
  • The only cast bracket (no weld put cast in a mold from molten steel) is installed under the footing
  • The galvanized helical pier is driven through poor soil to load bearing strata
  • The bracket is bolted to the pier and the structure is supported and in some cases returned to a more level position

Advantages

  • Pier is “proofed” as it is driven using pressure reading and a mathematical formula we know how much the pier will hold
  • No cure time that you have with concrete poured piers
  • Quick and minimally disruptive installation
  • Life of the structure warranties

My crawl space has never been so dry, and my basement has lost the damp musty smell from before. Questions and any issues were answered and resolved immediately. Big shout out to ESOG!”
