Welcome Dave Edwards, ESOG Structural Engineer

This past spring, ESOG welcomed a new employee to the mix. Dave Edwards joined the company 5 months ago as a structural engineer who does civil site work as well as structural analysis for ESOG’s residential and commercial clients. Dave was drawn to working for ESOG because of the “change of pace in working for a contractor as opposed to a design firm,” he says.

Just in the short time Dave has been at ESOG, he’s already embraced the opportunities he’s had to provide solutions to more varied and challenging problems. So far, his favorite ESOG project has been the Worley Residence because ESOG gave the client direction when no one other companies could. It appears that everyone at ESOG likes a good challenge.

When it comes to balancing his family life and career at ESOG, Dave puts in extra time at the office when he can so that when he needs time off to be with his family, he’s able to get away and give his best to his family. He is married, has a teenage son and daughter, and has three dogs.

When Dave is able to get away with his family, his favorite vacation spot is The Berkshires in Massachusetts. In his free time, he enjoys gardening and landscaping. And we can only imagine how amazing the garden of an engineer might be!

One thing that might surprise most people at ESOG is that Dave has 33 years of military service.
